Very beautiful souvenir for the kitchen can be made from the most simple things. All that is required is a glass bottle of irregular shape, bright fresh vegetables, acetic acid and a bit of aesthetic taste. I needed for such a souvenir: Juice bottle, Acetic acid 70% - 2 bottles, Hot pepper - 5 pods, Garlic - handful, Large carrots - 1 pc., Funnel, Baking paper, Gum.
Wash bottle from labels and wipe dry outside. Vegetables beautifully chopped and filled into a bottle in layers. It is important that the cutting was perfect - piece by piece. Carrots, for example, I crumbled in this way. First, cut off the rounded edges to make a rectangular parallelepiped, and then cut it into identical cubes.
If you do not want to cut, you can use whole vegetables: pods of hot red and green pepper, chives, corn, peas, capers. It all depends on your imagination and the shape of the bottle. It should also be borne in mind that only small cutting and thin pods will pass into the bottle - a rather large vessel limits the narrow neck. Alternate contrasting colors so that the future souvenir has a solid appearance.
Fill a bottle filled with vegetables through a funnel with acetic acid. Vegetables will absorb vinegar and its level may decrease over time. In order not to open the bottle again, I suggest that you immediately shake the full bottle and knock it lightly on the table with it. Vegetables with vinegar will settle a little and you can add more acid.
Close the bottle tightly with a lid and decorate with food paper. The bottle is kept indoors, but it is advisable to keep it away from the stove, radiators and places accessible to children. The best option is to put on a high shelf. Over time, the vegetables in vinegar will change color a little, but still the bottle will look bright and decorate the kitchen.
