Brussels waffles with fresh berries

For cooking, you will need an electric waffle iron for “thick” waffles (Viennese, Belgian). Melt the butter in a microwave or using a water bath and pour into a deep spacious bowl. Pour the preheated milk and water into the butter, add the eggs beaten with a pinch of salt. Mix flour with yeast and thin stream in a milky-egg mixture, constantly beating the mixture until smooth. Add powdered sugar and whisk all over again. Cover the bowl with a clean towel and leave alone for half an hour.

Bake waffles in a waffle iron heated and greased with butter.Cool the finished waffles, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with fresh berries.
