How long she’s been at GHI:Since February 2015!
What she does:Conducts fun kitchen experiments for the GH site, writes food features for the magazine, tests recipes, and constantly rummages the pantry for chocolate.
Background:She graduated from University of Miami with a degree in Art History, but moved straight to NYC after graduation to attend the French Culinary Institute to get one step closer to her dream job of “eating for a living.” After graduating culinary school, she went to work for Cherry Bombe magazine, an indie publication on women and food, where she did everything from recipe testing to writing to actually hand delivering magazines when they first started out! While she did that, she also worked as an after-school cooking instructor for NYC kids. Next, she joined Epicurious.com as an editorial food assistant, testing and developing recipes, as well as writing for the website.
Outside GHI:She is an obsessive itinerary-maker and often makes very detail schedules for vacations she doesn’t even have planned yet. Clearly, she’s a little obsessed with traveling! She also co-hosts a dinner party series called Pineapple NYC once a month for young women in the food biz and writes a food blog called Wolfberry.
