Hearty Pattiesis a recipe.


for the test:

  1. 350 grams of flour;
  2. 230 g of butter
  3. 60-120 ml of cold water
  4. 5 tbsp. l. sugar;
  5. 1/4 tsp. salt.

for the filling:

  1. thick jam or any berries;
  2. egg yolk;
  3. 1 tsp. milk.


Mix flour, salt and sugar. Add the oil and mix well again until the mixture resembles coarse bread crumb. Pour slowly 1/4 cup of water. The dough should be stuck in the hands. If necessary, add more water. Mix for another half a minute. Put the dough in a bowl, close with cling film and put in the fridge for about 20 minutes.

We spread the dough on a spreading board, sprinkled with flour, and thinly roll out 3-5 mm thick. We cut hearts out with a cookie cutter.

The baking sheet is covered with baking paper. Put the ready-made dough hearts on a baking sheet and do not stick a wooden skew deeply.Put the stuffing and close the second circle of dough. We fasten 2 circles so that the filling does not flow out.

Ready pie lubricates egg yolk. Make 3 holes on the top side of the pie with a sharp knife or fork. Bake in a heated oven to 1750C 20-25 min.
