How to cook cookies with cranberries in orange glaze
You will need
- 18 pieces:
- - 420 g of flour;
- - 1.5 tsp. baking powder;
- - 0.5 tsp. salts;
- - 50 g of powdered sugar;
- - 300 grams of natural yogurt;
- - 85 g butter;
- - 1 egg;
- - 140 g of dried cranberries.
- For the glaze:
- - 55 g of powdered sugar;
- - 1 tsp. orange peel;
- - 1 tbsp. orange juice.
Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Put two baking sheets in baking paper.
In a large bowl, sift flour with baking powder and salt. Stir in powdered sugar.
Melt the butter in the microwave or in a water bath and cool slightly. Break eggs into a separate bowl and lightly beat with a fork or a hand whisk. Add butter and yoghurt, mix to a smooth consistency.
In the center of the mixture of dry ingredients of the dough make a groove. Pour in the liquid ingredients. Stir until the dry mixture is moistened, then add the cranberries and stir again.
Sprinkle the surface lightly with flour. Put the dough and pat the palms flatten into the layer about 2.5 cm thick. Cut into 9 squares and each of them into 2 triangles.
Spread the blanks on trays at a distance of 2.5 cm from each other. Send to the oven for 15 minutes.
While baking cookies, cook the icing by mixing powdered sugar, orange zest and juice.
Cool the ready-made cookies on a baking sheet, put them on a wire rack and glaze.
