Fish Meat Dishes: Tomato Meatballs

Delicate, delicious and very tasty meatballs in a creamy tomato sauce will surely please all households and will become one of the best dishes in your cooking book. For cooking, you can take ready minced fish, but it is better to make it yourself from the fillet.


  • Cod fillet 700 grams (or prepared minced meat).
  • Oatmeal (the smallest) 30-40 grams.
  • Bow 1 piece.
  • Milk (if the meat is dry, but not more than 10-20 ml).
  • Salt, seasonings.

For the sauce:

  • Tomatoes 450 grams.
  • Onions and carrots in 1 piece.
  • Garlic 2-3 fur coat.
  • Fresh basil.
  • Salt.

Frozen fish fillets must be completely thawed and then dried thoroughly. Fresh fillet immediately let in the work.

Cut the fillet into medium slices, add oatmeal here and chop up with a blender so that a homogeneous mass is obtained.

Then add grated onion, salt and season with seasoning, if necessary, and mix the mince thoroughly.

It is necessary to form small balls from the obtained mince, do it with wet hands.

Now prepare the sauce. Grate tomatoes on a coarse grater, do the same with carrots. Shred the onion with a knife. Put vegetables in a frying pan, add chopped greens of basil, crushed garlic, salt.

After 10 minutes, transfer the fishballs to the vegetables, if necessary, add a little water and simmer under the lid for 20 minutes. Serve the meatballs in the sauce with a side dish to taste. Bon Appetit!

Minced fish dishes: baskets with cherry and pepper

This dish is a work of culinary art.therefore, it is ideal for a holiday table.


  • minced white fish - 600 grams;
  • pulp half loaf;
  • milk - 50 ml;
  • chicken egg - 1 piece;
  • one onion;
  • cherry tomatoes - 6 pieces;
  • sweet pepper - 1 piece;
  • hard cheese - 100 grams;
  • salt, seasonings;
  • fresh greens for decoration.

In minced fish, add chopped finely onions. In the milk soak the pulp of the loaf, squeeze it and add to the minced meat. Salt, add selected seasonings and mix well.

Bulgarian pepper cut into thin strips. Cheese grate finely. Divide the minced meat into 6-8 parts, form balls of them, which then need to be flattened with a palm and made in the middle of the recess.

Stir the pepper with cheese, and then spread the resulting mass into the recesses of the minced fish cutlets. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes under the foil, and then remove the foil and bake for about 10 more minutes.

On the finished baskets on top, place the cherry tomatoes and sprigs of fresh greens. Serve can be both cold and hot.
