How to make a solar water heater

The solar water heater is easy to manufacture, does not require strict use of certain materials, everything can be replaced if desired or in short supply.

In the course of the description of production, I will offer alternative options for replacing materials, as some of them may not be possible find. So, let's start with the fact that it is necessary to cut a square out of thick plywood of any brand, be it chipboard, fiberboard, OSB, etc.
The size of the side of the square is approximately 60 cm.
Then, from a thin sheet of stainless steel, cut out a square equal to the square of plywood.It will be a reflector of solar energy.
If you do not have a thin stainless steel, but take regular aluminum foil and paste over a square of plywood around it. I take a sheet of stainless steel, put it on top of a square of plywood. I apply wooden slats along the perimeter and fix it all with small nails.
Now I need a copper tube 5-6 m long. The thinner its wall, the better. Metal tube can be aluminum. We roll it up in a single layer, but so that the dimensions of the twist circle do not exceed the dimensions of the square of plywood.
Spray paint from a can of black color to paint a tube. First, one side, then how dry - the other.
From the U-shaped aluminum profile we make a body contour around the perimeter of the square.
Drill a hole in the center.We also use four stoppers for a copper serpent from a reiki.
Installing a copper coil. At the beginning of the curl we put on a silicone tube. And skip it in the hole in the center.
The other end of the copper tube come out to the side. Cut glass to the size of a square from plywood. It is better to use plexiglass or plexiglass here, since they transmit infrared rays well.
The solar panel is almost ready.
Make a rack from a steel square profile.

Install the bottle on the rack.
On top of the sealant also paste the neck of an unnecessary bottle so that you can easily add water to the tank.
From the side we paste the phone in.
And paste the tube from the bottom. This should be done for better circulation.
Install the solar panel in a tilt.
Connect the side tube of the solar collector to the side tube of the bottle.
And the center of the collector - to the bottom of the bottle. The water heater working from the sun is ready. Pour water.
And wait until the sun heats the water. Everything happens autonomously.
