We are less then two months away from the 2nd Annual 100 Mile Ruck March for Why Me and Sherry’s House. So for the athletes participating this year I wanted to share some simple tips on how I pack my rucksack. Ultimately the best advice I can give is test out the gear you plan on using in the actual event so that you get comfortable with how you like it. Because its specific to every person. Check out the episode for some other tips and tricks.

Why Me & Sherry’s House is a Worcester based non-profit organization created to help Central New England families cope with childhood cancer.

The 2021 100 Mile Ruck March raised over $72 Thousand Dollars for Why Me & Sherry’s House. This year the number of participants in the challenge has doubled in size! and we’re hoping to double the amount raised from last year.

The 100 Mile Ruck March Challenge is a military inspired event, where Athletes will Ruck (hike) 25 miles a day for 4 days. Camping out each night on the farm of a local brewery and continuing the march at sunrise each morning. Athletes will carry everything they will need for this 4 day event on their backs, navigate the 100 mile course, cook their own meals, set up and break down their own camps each night, tend to their feet and bodies, all in an attempt to earn the coveted 100 Mile Ruck March Finisher Belt Buckle.
